Day 3: Wednesday May 14th

All day visit to Heriot Watt Galashiels

Group 2 – tour of Schofield

Each group walks to the Scottish Borders Campus (15 min walk)

Tour around the High Mill Building to see facilities and see a preview of the Degree Show

12:45/13:00 – Leave campus.

1:00PM - Lunch Stitchers café ? (Checking to see if they can accommodate us)

2:00PM - Great Tapestry Optional (There is an entry fee for this exhibit)

3:00PM - Travel back to Edinburgh (by private bus)




Day 4: Thursday May 15th

8:30AM Meet in the hotel lobby to take public transport

9:30AM Visit Kinloch Anderson Kilt Makers for the King with CEO John Kinloch Anderson. Presentation in their client showroom.

Two Groups 1PM and 1:30PM Georgina Ripley Curator of the Fashion Exhibition at the National Scotland Museum. Before and after - free time to visit other exhibitions in the museum.

The transport cards have more than enough credit for your four days in London. They must be returned to your tour director on departure from London and if lost replaced at your own cost or you will be charged for their full amount - 40 pounds. Note: taking boat rides on the Thames is not included in your daily allowance on your oyster card. Day 6: Saturday May 17th

Meet in the hotel lobby at 9AM.

Fashion Walking Tour: Visit iconic Bond Street, international brands like Louis Vuitton and Chanel, visit and understand the history of the world’s first shopping mall, mini tour of Fortnum and Mason – see the Queen’s handbags and lots and lots of tea!, finish up in Spitafields vintage shopping district.

Tour finishes at 1PM. Free time for lunch at Spitafields until 2PM.
Walk or bus to next appointment.

Walk to the St Pancras International train station (about 10 minutes).

Recommended arrival time at St Pancras, 90 minutes prior to train departure at 10:24. Make sure you have your passports in a handy place.

Take the bus to The Brand Collective (3pm to 5pm).

The bus will then take us to the hotel. Check-in.

Meeting in a ready-to-wear workshop for a brand that participates twice yearly in the official, Paris fashion weeks. The tour is given by the designer himself, who also works for MUGGLER CELINE NINA RICCI ALL LUXURY BRANDS in addition to his own brand.

Content: Introduction to the various crafts related to ready-to-wear workshops. The designer’s team will introduce you to the brand’s artistic universe, its history, the different positions and professions that collaborate with the fashion designer.


After our first appointment we will walk all together to Cafe del Est so you know where to meet for the afternoon appointment.

Then you will have free time for lunch and shopping.

Specialists in textile creation for the biggest fashion houses (Martin Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier, Christian Dior, Stéphane Rolland, Céline. . . ) , the workshop offers you an exceptional moment in a rarely penetrable setting.
